Director General Health Services Dr Amin Mandokhail visited Naseerabad Division to review preparations for the ongoing flood situation

During the visit, the DGHS inspected the warehouse where essential medicines will be stored and inquired about the services of MNCH, EPI, VBD, TB, and Nutrition programs. He emphasized the need for improvements and directed that quality health services be made available during both evening and night shifts. Stocks were also checked to ensure that districts have enough supplies, and any additional needs were identified so that timely support can be arranged.

The DGHS Dr Amin mandokhail asked about health services being provided through programs such as MNCH, EPI, VBD, TB, MCH, LHW, and Nutrition, with a focus on ensuring communities continue receiving care despite the challenges.

To strengthen health services on the ground, Mobile Health Units (MHUs) have already been mobilized to Naseerabad Division. The DGHS assured that three more MHUs will be deployed if required, so that families in flood-hit areas have continuous access to healthcare.

The Health Department reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the health and well-being of people during this difficult time.
