Under the chairmanship of Health Minister Bakhth Muhammad Kakar, a meeting was held to review the performance of the Health Department in Killa Saifullah. During the session, displeasure was expressed over the condition of the Muslim Bagh Hospital. Instructions were issued for strict action against absentee staff, releasing advertisements for hiring on vacant positions, and enforcing adherence to the official dress code.
Health Minister of Balochistan, Bakhth Muhammad Kakar, chaired a meeting to assess the performance of the Health Department concerning Killa Saifullah. The meeting was attended by Special Secretary Health Shay Haq Baloch, Provincial Coordinator of the Balochistan Health Information System Dr. Ababakar Baloch, District Health Officer (DHO) Killa Saifullah Dr. Taj Muhammad, and Medical Superintendent of the Teaching Hospital Killa Saifullah Dr. Manzoor.
During the meeting, the Health Minister expressed strong dissatisfaction over the poor performance of the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Muslim Bagh. He stated that the lack of basic facilities and negligence on the part of the staff is unacceptable. He directed that immediate and strict action be taken against the absentee personnel.
The Minister instructed all DHOs and Medical Superintendents to send complete lists of doctors and other staff posted in their respective districts and hospitals to the Health Department and the Director General Health Services Balochistan. This will help in assessing the available workforce and planning necessary reforms.
Furthermore, he directed that all vacant posts across the district be filled on a priority basis through the Divisional Director. Where immediate appointments are not possible, the posts should be publicly advertised in newspapers to begin the recruitment process.
All employees of the Health Department were also directed to work full duty days six days a week in accordance with government regulations. Full attendance must also be ensured on emergency duty days. Any violation of this order will lead to strict departmental action.
The Health Minister further ordered that all hospital staff must strictly follow the official dress code and display their service cards prominently on their chest with their name and designation clearly visible. This is to aid in identification by patients and citizens and to promote a professional working environment.
In conclusion, the Health Minister emphasized that transparency, discipline, accountability, and the delivery of quality medical services are top priorities of the Balochistan government. All necessary measures are being taken to achieve these goals.
